“I have discovered in life that there are ways of getting almost anywhere you want to go, if you really want to go.”
—American poet Langston Hughes (1901-1967)
May has been called the month of promise and the sweet beginnings of summer. For some, this gateway to summer could not come soon enough. To help celebrate the dawning of May, here are a few entertaining ideas focusing on art, song, crafts, wine, and mental wellness. And don’t forget: When event-going, consider taking precautions, especially when among groups and while indoors, with the risk of COVID-19 variants and other still-existing infectious health concerns.
