- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1-2 green chilies, chopped (adjust to taste)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and tomato paste, cooking until the tomatoes break down and form a sauce.
- Stir in the turmeric, cumin, coriander, and green chilies, cooking for a few minutes to allow the spices to bloom.
- Add the fish pieces to the pan, gently stirring to coat them in the sauce.
- Season with salt and cover the pan, allowing the fish to cook through for about 10-15 minutes.
- Once cooked, squeeze lemon juice over the dish and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with rice or bread.
