    • 500g black beans, soaked overnight
    • 300g pork shoulder, cut into cubes

    • 150g chorizo, sliced
    • 150g beef, cut into cubes

    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 bay leaves
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 1 teaspoon black pepper
    • Salt to taste
    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 1 liter water
    • Fresh cilantro for garnish

    Instructions

    1. Drain and rinse the soaked black beans. In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
    2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until translucent.
    3. Add the pork shoulder, beef, smoked sausage, and chorizo to the pot, browning the meat on all sides.
    4. Stir in the soaked black beans, bay leaves, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
    5. Pour in the water, bringing the mixture to a boil.
    6. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 2 hours, or until the beans and meat are tender. Stir occasionally and add more water if necessary.
    7. Once cooked, remove the bay leaves and adjust seasoning if needed.
    8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro, alongside rice or fried plantains.
