East African Hip Hop: 8 Iconic Rappers Who Put East Africa On The Map

Since the late 1970s, hip-hop has played a vital role in fostering creativity and expression worldwide. Hip-hop has been a platform for artists in East Africa to share stories, express their emotions, and create impactful messages. “East African hip hop” is a genre of music that developed in East Africa in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
