    Ingredients

    • 10 ripe cooking bananas (Matoke)
    • 2 cups of water

    • 1/2 cup of sugar (optional)
    • 1/4 teaspoon of yeast (optional)

    Instructions

    2. In a separate pot, boil 2 cups of water and let it cool slightly.
    3. Add the mashed bananas to the pot of water and mix well.
    4. Gradually add the sorghum or millet flour to the banana mixture, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
    5. If using, add sugar and yeast to the mixture and stir well.
    6. Cover the mixture with a clean cloth and let it ferment in a warm place for 2-3 days.
    7. After fermentation, strain the mixture through a fine sieve or cloth into a clean container to separate the liquid from the solids.
