    Ingredients

    • 500g cassava leaves (fresh or frozen)
    • 1 cup ground peanuts (or peanut butter)

    • 1-2 green chilies, chopped (optional)
    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • Salt to taste
    • Water as needed

    2. In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.

    5. Add the cassava leaves to the pot, along with enough water to cover the leaves.

    8. Adjust the consistency with more water if needed, and serve hot with rice or xima.
