Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and vegetable oil. Gradually add water and knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- In a pan, heat some oil and sauté the onions and garlic until translucent. Add the ground meat or vegetables, cumin, coriander, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the meat is browned or vegetables are tender. Allow to cool.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into circles. Place a spoonful of filling on one half of each circle, fold over, and seal the edges with a fork.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the chamussas until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels before serving.
