Description

Ingredients
- 2 cups of cornmeal (maize meal)
- 4 cups of water
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring 3 cups of water to a boil.
- In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of cornmeal with a little cold water to form a smooth paste.
- Once the water is boiling, add the cornmeal paste to the pot, stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
- Gradually add the remaining cornmeal while stirring.
- Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pot.
- If the sadza is too thick, add a little more water to achieve the desired consistency.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
