    Description

    • 2 cups of cornmeal (maize meal)
    • 4 cups of water
    • Salt to taste

    Instructions

    1. In a large pot, bring 3 cups of water to a boil.

    3. Once the water is boiling, add the cornmeal paste to the pot, stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
    4. Gradually add the remaining cornmeal while stirring.
    5. Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pot.
    6. If the sadza is too thick, add a little more water to achieve the desired consistency.
    7. Once cooked, remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
