- 500g all-purpose flour

- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp dry yeast
- 300ml warm water
- 200g canned tuna, drained
- 2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed

- 2 tbsp capers, rinsed and chopped
- 1 tsp harissa (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and dry yeast. Gradually add warm water and knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let it rise for about 1 hour.
- In another bowl, mix the tuna, mashed potatoes, onion, capers, harissa, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into small balls. Roll each ball into a flat circle.
- Place a spoonful of the tuna mixture in the center of each circle, fold the dough over, and seal the edges tightly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Fry the filled dough until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
