    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 teaspoon allspice
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 cup chicken broth or water

    Instructions

    1. Rinse the chicken pieces and pat them dry. Season with salt, pepper, and allspice. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
    2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and brown them on all sides. Remove the chicken and set aside.
    3. In the same pot, add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Sauté until the onion is translucent.
    4. Add the marinated chicken back to the pot along with thyme, green onions, and Scotch bonnet peppers. Stir well.
    5. Pour in the diced tomatoes, ketchup, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and chicken broth. Stir to combine.
    6. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
    7. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. Serve hot with rice or provisions.
