Ingredients
- 1 cup green lentils
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped

- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 4 cups water

- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 30-40 minutes, or until the lentils are tender.
