Description

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil or melted ghee
- 1/4 cup milk (optional for richer flavor)
- Extra oil or ghee for frying
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Gradually add warm water and mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Divide the dough into small balls (about the size of a golf ball) and flatten each ball slightly.
- Brush each flattened dough ball with oil or ghee and stack them on top of each other, covering with a cloth to rest for about 30 minutes.
- After resting, take one dough ball and roll it out on a lightly floured surface into a thin circle.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil or ghee. Cook the rolled-out dough for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and slightly crispy.
- Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls.
