Description

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water (as needed)
- 2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1/2 cup green peas, boiled
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and oil until crumbly. Gradually add water to form a smooth dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- In a pan, heat a tablespoon of oil and sauté the onions until translucent. Add the cumin seeds, green chilies, and spices, cooking for another minute.
- Stir in the mashed potatoes and peas, mixing well. Season with salt and allow to cool.
- Divide the dough into small balls and roll each into a thin circle. Cut each circle in half to form two semi-circles.
- Take one semi-circle, form a cone by folding it, and seal the edge with water. Fill with the potato mixture and seal the top edge.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the samosas until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
