    • 2 stalks green onions, chopped

    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 2 cups beef broth
    • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
    • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
    • 2 cups long-grain rice
    • 4 cups water
    • 1 bay leaf

    Instructions

    1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
    2. Add the oxtails and brown on all sides, then remove and set aside.

    7. In a separate pot, bring water to a boil, add rice and cook until tender, about 20 minutes.
