- 6 cups of water

- Remove the chicken pieces, debone them, and return the meat to the pot.
- Add the rice to the pot and cook for an additional 20 minutes until the rice is tender.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
