    Ingredients

    • 500g lamb or chicken, cooked and shredded
    • 2 cups rice, rinsed
    • 4 pieces of pita bread, toasted and broken into pieces

    • 1/4 cup vinegar
    • 1/4 cup olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
    • Salt to taste
    • Pepper to taste
    • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

    Instructions

    1. In a pot, cook the rice according to package instructions until fluffy. Set aside.
    2. In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
    3. Add the vinegar, cumin, salt, and pepper to the garlic mixture, stirring well.
    4. In a large serving dish, layer the toasted pita bread at the bottom.
    5. Add the cooked rice on top of the bread, followed by the shredded meat.
