Description

Ingredients
- 1 cup hazelnuts, toasted
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds, toasted
- 2 tablespoons coriander seeds
- 2 tablespoons cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Begin by toasting the hazelnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Allow them to cool.
- In the same skillet, toast the sesame seeds until they are golden and fragrant, about 3-5 minutes. Remove and let cool.
- Toast the coriander and cumin seeds in the skillet until aromatic, about 2-3 minutes. Allow to cool.
- In a food processor, combine the cooled hazelnuts, sesame seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black peppercorns, salt, thyme, and paprika.
- Pulse the mixture until it reaches a coarse texture, being careful not to over-process into a paste.
- Transfer the dukkah to a serving bowl and serve with olive oil and fresh bread for dipping.
