Ingredients
- 2 cups millet or sorghum
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 2 cups of assorted vegetables (carrots, green beans, etc.)
Instructions
- Rinse the millet or sorghum thoroughly under cold water. Soak it in water for 8 hours or overnight to ferment.
- Drain the soaked grains and blend them with fresh water until smooth.
- In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the blended mixture and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
- Cook on medium heat for about 15-20 minutes until it thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pot.
- In a separate pan, heat vegetable oil and sauté the chopped onion and bell pepper until soft.
- Add the assorted vegetables and ground pepper, cooking until tender.
- Serve the Aiyash with the sautéed vegetables on top.
