- 200 g okra, sliced
- 2-3 cups water

- 1 teaspoon ground coriander

- In a large pot, heat the palm oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute.
- Add the chicken pieces and brown them on all sides.
- Incorporate the chopped tomatoes and green bell peppers, cooking until the tomatoes break down.
- Season with salt, black pepper, bay leaves, paprika, and coriander.
- Pour in enough water to cover the chicken and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes.
- Add the sliced okra and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until the okra is tender.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot with funge.
