Lin Thomas is a graduate of Morgan State University, where he earned a B.S. in Accounting. Other accolades include receiving the National Minority Supplier Development Council Scholarship, to attend the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, receiving a certificate from the NMSDC Advanced Management Education Program in 2006.

Thomas currently serves as Chairman & CEO, of two emerging business enterprises, in the office products & pharmaceutical industries. As Co-founder, Chairman & CEO of SUPRA and corporate Acquisition Leader of EMSCO, he has worked in alliances with large companies such as Office Depot, Staples.

Thermo-Fisher Scientific & VWR International, to service major Fortune 1000 Corporation and Major Universities.

Lin maintained a long professional & entrepreneurial career, beginning as an auditor with Price Waterhouse & Co. Other jobs include: Special Assistant to U.S. Congressman Parren J. Mitchell, Vice President of Finance for a travel agency & money order company,co-founder & managing partner of an accounting firm, amongst other positions. At the start of his career, Lin Thomas saw a major benefit of having gone to Morgan State and having two of the top accounting firms actively recruiting him.

Lin felt the HBCU gave him an edge, and fostered leadership and the ability to prosper in a place that did not marginalize him and his skills. For Lin, being apart of an HBCU was about taking in new educational and cultural knowledge in a community where you could be unapologetically yourself.

Existing as part of the African Diaspora, means accepting, adapting and including his roots as lifelines in his path to success. He feels that HBCUs, enable us to recognize and realize our God given power.
