A must-see is Wawa Welcome America’s The Salute to Independence Semiquincentennial Parade. Get lost in four hours of 250 lively parade elements representing 50 states and U.S. territories. It will include all 52 Miss America state and territory titleholders showcasing their home state or territory through themed performances. More than 40 marching bands, including those from as far away as Italy, military units, and 19 fancy floats will dazzle onlookers. View the action at any of the designated “Parade Watch Zones” at 6th and Market streets; 11th and 12th streets at Market, or the northeast side of City Hall.
