The City School students enjoyed a morning of entertainment & African storytelling to close studies celebrating Black History Month

The Mlanjeni Magical Theater performed a spectacular interactive magic show — featuring stories about the history of African-American trains, acts  of illusion, puppets, folk music and dance — for elementary-school students to close The City School’s lower-school curriculum celebrating heritage and culture during Black History Month in Philadelphia’s Fairmount section on February 28th.

FunTimes Magazine Publisher Dr. Eric Nzeribe was among the inspired visitors attending a luncheon featuring keynote speaker Aminata Sy, alumnus of Community College of Philadelphia and author of “Destined: A Story o Resilience and Beating the Odds”’ at the school’s annual Black History Month luncheon in Philadelphia on Feb. 4th.
