The Germantown Jazz Festival is Philadelphia’s most soulful three days. Along a mile stretch of Germantown Avenue — one of the oldest continuously inhabited streets in North America — jazz takes over. The 2026 festival carries the ‘Black Philly 250’ designation, linking it to the semiquincentennial programming. Uncle Bobbie’s Coffee & Books, two blocks from the main stage, is the unofficial festival headquarters.
FunTimes Recommends: Come for all three days. Stay for the spontaneous performances. Budget: $0 admission + food and drinks.
