    Description

    Ingredients

    • 2 cups of rice
    • 500g of beef or chicken, cut into pieces
    • 1 large onion, chopped
    • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
    • 1 tablespoon of ginger, grated
    • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon of salt
    • 1 teaspoon of ground crayfish
    • 1 bell pepper, chopped
    • 2 tomatoes, chopped
    • 2 cups of water
    • 1 bay leaf
    • Fresh parsley for garnish

    Instructions

    1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then soak it for about 30 minutes.
    2. In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions, garlic, and ginger, and sauté until the onions are translucent.
    3. Add the meat to the pot and brown it on all sides.
    4. Stir in the chopped bell pepper and tomatoes, and cook for another 5 minutes.
    5. Add the soaked rice, water, black pepper, salt, crayfish, and bay leaf. Stir well to combine.
    6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
    7. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for an additional 5 minutes.
    8. Fluff the rice with a fork, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
