Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

- Spread a layer of the nut mixture over the pastry.
- Repeat the layering process, alternating between pastry and nuts, until all ingredients are used, finishing with a top layer of pastry.
- Cut the baklava into diamond or square shapes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
- While the baklava is baking, prepare the syrup by boiling water, honey, and vanilla extract for about 10 minutes.
- Once the baklava is done, pour the hot syrup over it and let it cool completely before serving.
