Description

Ingredients
- 2 cups of soybeans
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 tablespoon of palm oil (optional)
- Banana leaves or parchment paper for wrapping
Instructions
- Soak the soybeans in water overnight.
- Drain and rinse the soybeans, then blend them with 1/4 cup of water until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a pot and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly to avoid sticking.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Once the mixture thickens, remove it from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Shape the mixture into small patties or cubes.
- If using, brush the patties with palm oil.
- Wrap each piece in banana leaves or parchment paper.
- Steam the wrapped patties for about 30 minutes.
- Allow to cool before serving.
