Ingredients
- 1 cup millet or rice
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup plain yogurt

- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the millet or rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil and add the millet or rice.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20-25 minutes until fully cooked and water is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooled millet or rice with yogurt, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- If desired, fold in raisins and chopped nuts.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Serve cold, garnished with additional nuts or raisins if desired.
