Description

Ingredients
- 200 grams tamarind pulp
- 1 liter water
- 100 grams sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger

- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Soak the tamarind pulp in 1 liter of warm water for about 30 minutes to soften.
- Once softened, use your hands to mash the tamarind in the water, breaking it apart to release its flavor.
- Strain the mixture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth into a large bowl, discarding the solids.
- Add sugar, ground ginger, and ground cinnamon to the tamarind liquid, stirring well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Chill the drink in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Serve over ice cubes if desired.
