- 2 lbs goat meat, cut into pieces

- 2 medium carrots, sliced
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, sautéing until they are translucent.
- Add the goat meat to the pot and brown it on all sides.
- Pour in the water, then add the thyme, Scotch bonnet peppers, allspice, black pepper, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 1.5 hours or until the meat is tender.
- Add the carrots, potatoes, and bell pepper to the pot. Stir in the diced tomatoes, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Continue to simmer for another 30 minutes until the vegetables are cooked through.
- Remove the Scotch bonnet peppers before serving for a milder flavor, or leave them in for extra heat. Serve hot, preferably with rice or dumplings.
