    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
    • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
    • Oil for frying

    Instructions

    1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, sugar, and vegetable oil. Gradually add warm water and knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
    2. In a skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
    3. Add the ground meat, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until the meat is browned. Stir in the chopped parsley and remove from heat.
    4. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each into a thin circle.
    5. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each circle, fold over to create a half-moon shape, and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
    6. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the fatayas until golden brown on both sides.
    7. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
