    Ingredients

    • 2 cups millet or sorghum
    • 8 cups water
    • 1 cup sugar (to taste)
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
    • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder (optional)
    • 1/2 teaspoon cloves (optional)

    Instructions

    1. Rinse the millet or sorghum under cold water until the water runs clear.
    2. Soak the grains in water for about 8 hours or overnight.

    6. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until it thickens (about 15-20 minutes).
