- 2 lbs goat meat, cut into pieces
- 4 cups water

- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 Scotch bonnet pepper, whole
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, sautéing until the onions are translucent.
- Add the goat meat to the pot and brown on all sides.
- Pour in the water and bring to a boil.
- Add thyme, allspice, black pepper, salt, carrots, potatoes, bell pepper, Scotch bonnet pepper, diced tomatoes, bay leaves, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the goat meat is tender.
- Remove the Scotch bonnet pepper and bay leaves before serving.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
