Ingredients
- 1 kg pork shoulder, cut into cubes
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 bunch fresh coriander, chopped
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the pork cubes with garlic, onions, ginger, soy sauce, vinegar, black pepper, and salt. Mix well and let marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the marinated pork and brown on all sides.
- Once browned, add water to the pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let simmer for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the pork is tender. Stir occasionally and add more water if necessary to prevent sticking.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and stir in the fresh coriander before serving.
