Description

Ingredients
- 1 cup dried chickpeas
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

- Water as needed

Instructions

- Drain the chickpeas and reserve some cooking liquid.
- In a food processor, combine the cooked chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, cumin, and salt. Blend until smooth, adding reserved cooking liquid as needed to achieve desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and garnish with paprika and parsley. Serve with pita bread.
