Description

Ingredients
- 2 cups millet or sorghum
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cup sugar (optional)

Instructions
- Rinse the millet or sorghum thoroughly in water and soak it overnight.
- Drain the grains and blend them with 2 cups of fresh water until smooth.
- In a pot, combine the blended mixture with the remaining 2 cups of water and salt.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously to prevent lumps, until the mixture thickens to a porridge-like consistency (about 15-20 minutes).
- If using yeast for fermentation, allow the mixture to cool slightly and then mix in the yeast. Cover and let it ferment for 6-12 hours in a warm place.
- Once fermented, reheat gently before serving.
- Serve warm, optionally sweetened with sugar.
