Closing 2022 with fashionable flashbacks at my most recent fashion soirees at the Bayou Lounge 5025 Baltimore Ave in Philadelphia a collaboration with one of the most stylish girls that I know, Camille Simpkins. We celebrated her milestone birthday and the evening was filled with family and friends. No matter how you identify—as a ’90s fly girl or a hip-hop b-girl—everyone loves a little bit of rappers’ delight every now and then. We were all dancing queens, the Assassins featuring Fred Genvins, the live band who covered Beyoncé tunes with their own flair provided the sexy soundtrack. While many of the fashion trends of the night featured cool, comfy and colorful vibes, everyone brought authentic energy that lasted all night long. The soiree showcased a funky blend of a popular remix of styles from the fashion archives that are never a miss! Sequins, hoodies, Adidas jumpsuits. Yes, please! Do as you dare, it was a family Affair!
