Not many Nigerians understood it when he started and breaking into the mainstream proved challenging. He was not fully embraced by Nigerians until the international community did.

Burna Boy’s rise to fame began in the late 2010s with the release of his debut studio album “L.I.F.E” (Leaving an Impact for Eternity) which had hits like “Like to Party” and “Run My Race”.
