September 21, 2024, 3 pm come to a soul-stirring, inspiring, jazz performance at Tindley Temple. The concert features Dr. Jay Fluellen and the Marian Anderson Museum Instrumental Ensemble performing Dr. Fluellen’s special jazz arrangements of music by Rev. Dr. Charles Tindley and Billy Strayhorn. The compositions blend traditional tunes with jazz reflecting the vibrant spirit of our community. A concert & dinner ticket is offered starting at 1:00 pm, next door, at our new Tindley Tea Café.
